Good things have been afoot at the Roadhouse Tunes camp as usual, the Pubes have just completed tracking of the third album, which will be titled THE SAD BURRITO! The album was recorded over the Winter and Spring of 2008 at the beautiful Firebrand Studio here in Saint Louis, engineered by our very own Brian Scheffer, now locally famous for his work with The Humanoids and Cross Examination, and also who mixed our very own Peat Sounds;! Expect a release sometime next year, we are currently in the process of figuring out a release plan! Sex Robots have finished a new split 7" record with fellow St. Louis friends Bunnygrunt! Bunnygrunt covers an old Dinosaurs song, "Frankee Is A Killer," while Sex Robots cover a Phonocaptors song, "Crazy On You." The Dinosaurs were around in the late seventies St. Louis scene and featured renowned songwriter, KDHX DJ, and photographer Bob Reuter. The Phonocaptors were around in the early to mid '00s and featured songwriter and producer Jason Hutto, Bottlerockets' Keith Voegele and Tight Pants Syndrome's Scott Hermes.
